Masseria Pennello Piccolo is an early 1900’s farmhouse, facing the Adriatic Sea, immersed on 12 hectares of land. The one floor building covers an area of approximately 365m2. The interior space of the main house is currently divided into a reception room, bedrooms, a kitchen with fireplace that has access to an internal courtyard, as well as one bathroom. Adjacent to the main entrance is a garage that features high star shaped vaulted ceilings, and a big fireplace. This could be an ideal space for a dining/living room. Further exterior space is currently being used for storage, a barn, and animal shelter.
The front of the main house has a large square creating an elegant ambiance, that can be balanced nicely by offering guests a slice of home made pizza from the wood oven, followed by a stroll through the citrus garden and coutryard, to finally arrive on the rooftop terrace for a toast, just taking in the panorama.
Energy & Water Supply
The Masseria is equipped with electricity that is hooked up to ENEL, the local public network. The water supply derives from the connection to the AQP pipeline. Domestic waste is disposed of by a storage tank in an imhoff pit.
Location & Land
The location which is well positioned between the towns of Cisternino and Fasano is geographically unique in this part of Puglia. With panorama views of a mountain range, rolling hills of century old olive trees, and the view of the Adriatic Sea (6km) as well as only 3km to the local town of Pezze di Greco the property’s location is ideal. Since the area is environmentally protected to continue to sustain farming and the production of olive oil, building laws prohibit further development in the area.
The 12 hectares of land which has been well maintained and managed offer a thickly wooded area of olive trees, groves, and very large century old trees which are marked by a serial number. There are approximately 400 of these beautiful plants on the grounds.
It is with good reason that Fasano the larger nearby town is nicknamed “Città dell’ Olio”. One should note that the property grounds allow for two different entry points.
